Tax Litigation – Central London – 8+PQE
Our client, a highly ranked, full-service law firm based in Central London are looking for a senior litigator to join their disputes team.
Ranked in both the Legal 500 and Chamber & Partners, the firm offer a full spectrum of legal services, representing clients from high-net-worth individuals to SME’s and large corporations. Their work is both domestic and covers many jurisdictions globally, giving the firm a truly international reach.
The Top Tier litigation team cover a wide range of disputes, including, tax litigation; shareholder and company litigation; professional negligence claims; complex contractual disputes; and land related litigation. As well as High Court matters, they are also experts in ADR, including mediation and international arbitration matters.
Uniquely, the department has strong London and international client followings through referrals from magic circle and silver circle law firms and chambers - the contentious tax team forms part of a wider Disputes team of around 20 individuals.
Opportunity
This is a unique opening for a tax litigation specialist to grow a niche practice, with an existing caseload to take on.
With some established relationships, and a growing caseload of contentious tax work, our client is seeking an experienced individual to head and grow their contentious tax practice area, taking over conduct of several existing matters. You will join an established team with full support to further expand the offering with additional hires as required.
As the ideal candidate for this role, you should be 8+ PQE, have experience in dealing with contentious tax and the ability to grow the practice with your own specialist knowledge and contacts to complement the firm’s existing relationships.
