Day to day the role will cover a broad mix of banking, restructuring and insolvency work reflecting the breadth of work and clients within the team. In particular the team prides itself in acting on behalf of some of the UK's largest banking corporations and finance houses, as well as for borrowers in substantial restructuring and insolvency matters. In this respect, the firm certainly punches well above its weight on a UK-wide basis, having advised on some of the largest restructuring and insolvency matters in the market in recent years.

The team is predominantly split across the Exeter and London offices. This role will be working with the Exeter team, but there will be opportunities and occasional travel to work alongside colleagues both in Bristol and in London, including when it comes to team-wide business development and marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have enjoyed a Banking or Insolvency seat during their training and will have a strong interest and feel for work in these areas.
