Education Solicitor, Cardiff/Bristol 3+PQE

Major UK law firm seeks an experienced Education Solicitor to join their team to be based in either Cardiff or Bristol.
Our client is a well-established national firm with a very reputable, education department and a flexible, supportive team based culture.

The firm is keen to appoint a talented education lawyer with 3+ years PQE to bolster their Public Law and Human Rights team.

The successful candidate must possess the experience and ability to independently manage a mixed caseload of a variety of education and public law matters to include litigated cases.

The department is market leading and the role will involve working alongside the national team on high profile, cutting edge cases including advisory and litigation.

The caseload will include judicial reviews, disability discrimination, admissions and exclusions for a variety of clients such as schools, charities and parents. In addition, we assist clients who feel they have been discriminated by public bodies such as, but not limited to, government departments, local authorities, hospitals, care homes and health trusts.

You will be encouraged to be actively involved in business development and will be responsible for supervising more junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate should be technically proficient and an excellent communicator able to demonstrate strong developing relationships with both clients and colleagues.
