Your new company
Our client is a well established insurance law firm that continues to go from strength to strength as they prepare to enter a strong phase of growth throughout the North West. The firm have offices across the North of England and competitive benefits are provided. This is a great opportunity for qualified solicitors with MOJ experience and a real passion to move into an advocacy position at a well-run firm.

This will include CMCs, CCMCs, Stage 3 hearings, infant approval hearings and direction hearings. You will be required to attend lower level county courts across Merseyside, Cheshire and Manchester. There is a degree of mentoring involved in this position as you will provide advocacy training to trainee solicitors. You will be responsible for developing processes and documentation for the case management system and identifying instances where it may be more advantageous to settle or proceed to final hearing. This is a remote role, except being required to attend court. There is no need to be in the office on prep days.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified Solicitor or a practising Barrister who has completed their pupillage with 3+ years PQE and excellent knowledge of CPR, legislation and relevant case law. You should be looking to progress your career in a well-run firm. MOJ experience is essential. You should also have some advocacy experience, including attending court. Candidates from both claimant and defendant experience will be considered.

What you'll get in return
This is a great Advocate Solicitor/Barrister role where you can enjoy a high quality workload, plenty of hybrid flexibility and good opportunities for career development.
