Job Title: Dispute Resolution Solicitor
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Full Time or Part Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 to £40,000 (however is negotiable DOE)

If successful, you will perform the following role as a Dispute Resolution Solicitor:

As a Dispute Resolution Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving a wide variety of disputes on behalf of clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Case Management: Handle a caseload of regular, complex and high-value disputes, including but not limited to professional negligence, property litigation, inheritance disputes, debt recovery, and contract disputes.

Client Consultation: Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, understanding their individual circumstances and tailoring your approach to their specific needs.

Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to ensure a strong understanding of relevant case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents applicable to each case.

Drafting Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, settlement agreements, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal standards.

Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and resolutions to disputes, striving to achieve favourable outcomes for clients while minimising the risks and costs associated with prolonged litigation.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other legal professionals, support staff, and experts within the firm to leverage their expertise and resources in building strong cases.

Client Relationship Management: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about case developments, progress, and potential strategies.

Continuing Professional Development: Stay updated on legal developments, attending relevant training, workshops, and seminars to enhance your legal knowledge and skills.
