In-House job opportunity for a lawyer seeking something different in their next role. It could be suitable for a litigator, whether your experience is civil litigation, finance litigation or commercial litigation. It doesn't necessarily need lots of PQE, instead a couple of years or more, and an understanding of the litigation and dispute process will be counted. Those coming from a finance regulatory background are particularly encouraged to apply. 

We haven't seen a job quite like this before: a good opportunity for a solicitor or equivalent (legal qualification not necessarily required) to head up a small team of complaint handlers in a well known NFP organisation, and help to lead them on any litigious work that follows, determining defence and strategy, and working with externally appointed solicitors. 

This job will need a pragmatic and inquisitive mindset, and some diplomacy too. The cases that proceed to litigation can be complex, involving reputational risk, and will require some careful thought and planning. 

Your role will also encompass running internal workshops, training and mentoring people in your team, and communicating well across the organisation. It will also involve putting processes and templates into place for the team to use.

Salary is up to £70,000. The role is remote, and you can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you can attend the UK office on occasion.
