Job Details

Dragon Argent is a rapidly growing SRA-regulated professional services firm that specialises in working with high potential SMEs. We have three core disciplines in advisory, accountancy and legal, which we deliver to clients through quality guidance and joined-up expertise at each stage of business growth. Our main focus is to free up founders/our clients by becoming a key and trusted partner through the delivery of quality professional services, allowing them to focus on what they do best.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our team on a maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters and providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role is a mix of office and home working, with our office based at 63 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3XF, London.

This role is suited to an experienced Litigation Solicitor with 2 to 4 years’ post qualified experience (PQE). We are looking for a bright, highly diligent and pro-active individual who can work on their own initiative and take a commercial and consultative approach to client engagements. You will look forward to interacting directly with all our clients and supporting the business development of the department.

You will be managing a caseload of litigation matters, conducting settlement negotiating and drafting legal documents. You will also work closely with the Head of Litigation to contribute to strategic decision making. Some of our clients and cases have complex requirements so the ability to problem-solve in a broad, commercial capacity is crucial.

You will be motivated by the opportunity to work with and support exciting, tech-enabled startups, often advising founders directly, helping them to solve problems and realise commercial objectives.
