Competition Litigation – Central London – Leading Global Law Firm – 2-5 PQE

We are working with one of the world's leading international law firms, with a pioneering record of deploying best-in-class tech and innovative legal operations dating back over 100 years.  With offices spread globally, including a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions, as well as a fast-growing US practice, our client is recognised as one of the world’s leading law firms, employing close to 3,000 lawyers across numerous practice areas.

They are now looking to strengthen their London office with the appointment of a competition litigation associate.

The Team

The Team covers the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious competition, regulation and trade work globally, including, general competition (antitrust), cartels and other behavioural investigations, competition litigation, merger control, regulatory matters, state aid, public procurement, EU, WTO and international trade. Sector expertise includes energy and natural resources, financial institutions, consumer goods, infrastructure, transport, manufacturing & industrials, retail and telecoms, media & technology.


The Competition, Regulation and Trade group is consistently rated as one of the leading practices in its field, with a team of lawyers based in Europe (London, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Madrid and Paris), Asia and across Australia. Amongst their clients are leading financial institutions, top Fortune and FTSE companies from all industry sectors, regulatory bodies and national governments.

The Candidate

This role will have a significant focus on contentious matters, in particular private enforcement and other competition disputes.

As the successful candidate for this opportunity, you should ideally be between 2 and 5 PQE, however candidates with slightly less experience with be considered, depending on background and calibre. You should have solid litigation and competition experience as outlined above, with key responsibilities also including the ability to lead, delegate and manage work, manage client relationships and support the firm wide operations.
