Job Details

A new opportunity for an Employment Solicitor in central Leeds has become available offering an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of interesting Employment cases, as part of a friendly and supportive team. This role has great potential for development and progression for an individual looking to solidify their technical ability and gain further grounding in Employment.

The successful candidates will be working both autonomously and as part of a team and will gain experience in a range of Employment disciplines, supporting more senior solicitors in complex cases. 

 Duties include: 

  • Advising, representing and supporting clients over a range of Employment disciplines including but not limited to: Unfair dismissal, Discrimination, TUPE and Whistleblowing
  • Working within an insurance funded litigation environment and considering matters of insurance policy coverage and providing claims handling support to insurers
  • Delegation and supervision of tasks to paralegals, trainee solicitors, secretaries and support staff

To be considered for this role you will be a Solicitor or Equivalent with experience of dealing with a varied caseload. It would be desirable if you had some insurance litigation experience and understanding of litigation policy related issues although this is not essential.
