We are looking for individuals with a recognised Legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Lawyer) with good knowledge and experience of working within civil litigation. 

The work of the team is fast-paced and challenging, subject areas may include contract/commercial disputes, property litigation , debt recovery (private individuals and commercial undertakings) and public sector housing law.

The successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible approach as the post will entail legal representation and advocacy in different forum for example, the County Court, Magistrates Court and First Tier Tribunals. Experience of civil proceedings in the Magistrates Court may be an advantage.

These are permanent roles based in Sheffield city centre.

You will be able to work flexibly, including working remotely, attendance “in the office” will be required for part of your working hours including court hearings.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
