Job title: Employment Solicitor, Brighton

Salary: £45,000-£60,000

PQE Level: NQ-5 PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

You will be joining a boutique employment firm in their friendly and collegiate employment team. As an employment solicitor, you will be working closely with an fantastic, close knit team, providing a bespoke service to individuals.

As a member of the employment law team, you will be responsible for:

A claimant caseload, meeting with a range of clients to gather information and explain legal matters, building strong relationships.

Handling day-to-day enquires advice on

Unfair Dismissal and Discrimination Claims

Settlement AgreementsDisciplinary Hearings

To be considered for this role you will:

Have at least six months experience as a trainee in employment law matters, on the claimant side client matters at a leading regional or national practice. The firm have the ability to look at individuals up to 5 PQE and they have the work revenues to appropriately feed the right level of work.

Ideally have a background working with trade unions although not an absolute requirement

Have excellent verbal communication skills to effectively translate complex concepts into everyday language for non-experts.Have good writing skills to draft professional and accurate legal documents and reports.Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to arrive at the best legal solutions for cases.
