The Role:

Our client, a highly regarded law firm in Guildford, is seeking a dynamic and driven Private Client Solicitor to join their well-established team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including:

• Wills and Probate: Drafting and advising on wills, managing probate cases, and estate administration.
• Trusts: Advising on the creation and management of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Tax Planning: Offering expert advice on inheritance tax planning, wealth preservation, and related tax matters.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney: Preparing and registering LPAs, and advising on all aspects of capacity and decision-making.
• Estate Planning: Providing bespoke advice on estate planning and wealth management to high-net-worth individuals.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with up to 5 years PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong technical knowledge in wills, probate, trusts, tax, and estate planning.
• Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a first-class service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• STEP qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not essential.
