Interim Legal Counsel

Our client, a global pharma business is looking to recruit an Interim Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team.

Remote working will be considered.

The role will focus on supporting the Head of Legal and Group Company Secretary with legal, governance, regulatory and mandatory compliance matters, relating to the provision of services both in the UK and Internationally.

Key responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, negotiating approval and executing commercial, technical and other contracts including agreements, maintaining best practice templates for SLA's and other core documents, supporting senior stakeholders, assisting with various legal issues including anti-bribery, data protection issues and competition law compliance and supporting corporate transactions.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE and have previously worked in-house. Solid experience of drafting, reviewing, advising and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts is also essential along with broader commercial and corporate legal knowledge. Strong communication skills and the ability to forge relationships with stakeholders at all levels is also key.

The role is due to start asap and is likely to run for 3 to 6 months, although it has the potential to be extended further.

Competitive daily rate on offer and the role falls inside IR35.
