- Salary from £44,428 to £48,474 per annum (national pay award negotiations ongoing)
- Full-time – 37 hours a week

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Legal Services team at Sheffield City Council. The service is recruiting to help the Authority meet the exciting future for this green and vibrant city.
The Adult Social Care team operates in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a wide range of adult social care law cases, including matters relating to the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Court of Protection.
The successful candidate for all the roles will:
- Be responsible for providing authoritative advice to the Councils Officers and Members, ensuring that decisions are lawful.
- Manage their own caseload, which will include complex and interesting areas of law.
For the roles, you would need to have:
- Recognised Legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEX)
- Understanding of legal case management systems and process knowledge
- Technical knowledge in the specialist area of Commercial Law
