The Crown Prosecution Service is recruiting a Director General Legal Delivery to support the Director of Public Prosecutions in managing our legal services.

About the role
In this high-profile leadership role, you work in partnership with the Director of Public Prosecutions and Director General Chief Operating Officer to address challenges across the organisation. You’re responsible for the strategic management of legal services and operations – including our people, budget and performance. As a member of the Crown Prosecution Service Board, you provide visible leadership and help to shape our policies and guidance, working with colleagues across the criminal justice system to build public confidence in our work.
About you
We’re looking for a barrister or solicitor with at least 10 years’ post-qualified experience in criminal law or civil litigation. You’re an experienced leader, successful in improving casework management and engaging with stakeholders in a complex multi-agency environment. You’re able to provide legal advice and decision-making in the most complex and sensitive legal casework.
