Role Overview:

We are seeking a Private Client Expert to join our team, specialising in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and Probate services. Additional expertise in estate planning and contentious probate considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and advising on Wills and LPAs.
• Managing probate matters, including obtaining grants of probate and administering estates.
• Advising clients on estate planning to ensure the efficient transfer of wealth and assets.
• Handling complex estate planning cases involving trusts and related legal matters.
• Assisting clients with contested probate cases, providing expert advice and representation where disputes arise.
• Providing compassionate and professional advice to clients during emotionally challenging times.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and contact, offering tailored advice and solutions.
• Help drive the department forward.

Required Skills:

• A strong background in private client work.
• Advantageous experience in estate planning and contentious probate and the ability to handle disputes effectively.
• Excellent communication and client care skills, with a sensitive approach to handling personal matters.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commercially minded to help drive the department forward.
• Willingness to build relationships with contacts and potential referrals.
