One of the region's modern, supportive and continuously growing law firms has recently acquired a Legal Aid Contract, meaning they are now looking to hire someone to commence work on the Legal Aid matters for the firm. This is a really exciting opportunity for both the prospective candidate and the firm, as there is a real potential to grow the department and then hire more members for the team. This role would suit someone who has solid experience of working within Family law, specifically with Legal Aid work, while also maybe someone with an entrepreneurial streak, who sees the opportunity to grow and develop the department. The firm is a friendly, supportive and enjoyable place to work, with a number of offices across Somerset and Devon. This role will predominantly be based in their Taunton office, although there may be the opportunity to work from another office from time to time, depending on the location of the employee.

 

Skills and experience sought:

• Previous experience of working with Legal Aid / Family work
• A positive and fun mindset, who enjoys working within an upbeat team environment
• The ability to potentially lead or grow a team would be an advantage

 

Hours and benefits:

• 09:00 - 17:00
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
