Can you deliver justice? The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) are looking for Senior Crown Prosecutors to join our dynamic workforce in East Midlands.

The CPS East Midlands region serves the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Nottinghamshire, including the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. CPS East Midlands has two main office hubs in Nottingham and Leicester and two smaller satellite offices in Northampton and Lincoln.

Working as a Prosecutor in the East Midlands is exhilarating. Based in one of our Magistrates’ Court, Crown Court or Complex Casework Units, you will work on a variety of cases across criminal offences, from murder and serious assault, to complex fraud or drug offences. Prosecutors in our Crown Courts will be responsible for making charging decisions in advance of prosecution as well as advocacy in Court, whilst those working in our Complex Casework Units lead on the area’s high-profile media cases.

The cases prosecuted in CPS East Midlands reflect the wide diversity of our Area from teams dealing with Magistrates Court work including a Domestic Abuse and a Youth team, Rape and Serious Sexual offences and Crown Court including a complex casework team.
